AOZ1380DI-01

AOZ1380DI-01 is an combination protection switch that includes both the sink and source functions for USB Type-C port in a singel package. The device can sink current from the Type-C port through with a 20mΩ switch from VBUS to VCHG pin. The VBUS and VCHG operating range is from 3.4V to 22V under sink mode with absolute maximum rating of 28V. The sink switch has an active low enable input to support dead battery operation. Sink mode features programmable soft start, and high peak current up to 20A. The device can also source current to the Type-C port through with a 39mΩ switch from V5V to VBUS pin. The V5V operating range is from 3.4V to 5.5V under source mode. Only the sink or the source mode can be active at any one time. Source mode features internal soft-start to control inrush current, current limiting, Fast Role Swap (FRS) support. AOZ1380DI-01 has True Reverse Current Blocking (TRCB) function in both sink and source modes to prevent reverse current when the output voltage exceeds the input voltage. AOZ1380DI-01 have auto restart recovery when fault is detected and it is available in a 3 mm x 5.2 mm DFN-20L package.
